Situated alongside the D145 which is known as the route verte and it is the pretty touristic route which follows the line of the Gironde estuary.
The house is positioned between the village and port of St Seurin d'Uzet with general store and the picturesque port of Mortagne sur Gironde. Mortagne has a full range of shops, together with bars, restaurants, P.O., tourist information centre and of course the pretty port itself.
Safe and sandy beaches are just 8 miles away at Meschers which also has a number of attractions such as the cave dwellings Grottes de Regulus & Matata. Meschers too has a very pleasant port area, numerous shops and restaurants and a regular evening market with live entertainment plus brocantes throughout the season.
